The temperate rainforest of the Quinault Indian reservation has an average rainfall of over 200 inches each year. The giant Western Cedar, Douglas Fir, and Sitka Spruce, make for an excellent watershed, ensuring a high return rate for wild Salmon and Steelhead. No State License Required These rivers are not open to public fishing, or boating, and require an Quinault tribal guide for sports fishing. The Quinault tribe regulates these rivers, not Washington state. State regulations regarding bag limits, releasing wild Chinook and wild Steelhead, and hook restrictions do NOT apply! Our rivers are open all year under normal conditions. Spring Chinook and "Blueback" Sockeye run during the spring months. Steelhead run in the summer, fall, winter months. Jack Salmon and Coho (Silver) run during the fall months and Chinook run during the fall and winter months. If your interested in a fishing trip please contact me.
